Marinated mozzarella balls
Spice up your Mozzarella by marinating it in olive oil, olives and herbs and transform a traditional antipasti to an extra flavorful hors d’oeuvres.
1/2 cup chopped red grilled peppers (in jar)
1/3 cup chopped basil
1/4 cup chopped Kalamon olives without the stones
1-2 pinches of hot pepper
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
3/4 cup olive oil
350 grams fresh mozzarella balls
Mix the peppers, basil, olives, hot pepper, garlic and olive oil. Place the mozzarella balls in a bowl and pour the mixture on top. Let them marinate covered for at least 4 hours or up to 2 days in the fridge and serve.
