Fillets of Beef with Tomato and Cheese
This tender and delicious beef filet should be enjoyed with a side potatoes and a glass of Merlot.
1 kg beef bon fillet cut in slices
150 g fresh butter
graviera cheese thinly sliced
1 tomato, thinly sliced
½ kg fresh mushrooms, sliced and suteed
½ bunch parsley
salt and pepper
Preheat oven at 180° C.
1. Season the fillets with salt and pepper and fry them slightly not more than two minutes on each side in half of the butter, which is hot.
2. Place them one next to the other in a ovenproof dish.
3. Place over each piece one slice graviera cheese, one slice tomato and 2-3 parsley leaves. In between add the fried mushrooms.
4. Cook in a hot oven for ¼ of an hour, at most, until the cheese melts.
