Pasta Salad: Rigatoni with Basil, Tomato and Garlic

Here we present you with the first lunch the Gourmedeers shared in true Gourmed style while patiently editing the content. This rigatoni pasta recipe is extremely easy, light, but delightfully tasteful, to be made and enjoyed on a hot summers day!

Συστατικά:

500 gr rigatoni (whole wheat can be used as well)
4 garlic cloves, pureed
250 gr cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters
100 gr parmesan, grated
3 tbsp fresh basil,  chopped 
sea salt and black pepper

Οδηγίες:

Heat the oil and the garlic in a small frying pan until the garlic begins to brown. Add the tomatoes,  the basil, the parmesan, black pepper, stir and take off the heat! Cook the rigatoni according to instructions, mix well with the sauce, and serve immediately or cooled. 

 

Tips

It is important when making a pasta salad that the pasta is cooked "al dente".
