Ingredients:

1 ½ kilo mussels
12 oysters
150 gr flour
water
1 fresh onion
1 garlic clove
1 liter beer
50 gr caster sugar
salt & pepper
parsley for garnishing
orange & lemon peels

Procedure:

Remove the shells from the mussels and oysters and wash them. Next, mix the flour with the water until you create a fluid dough. Add salt and pepper. Brown the sugar until it turns into caramel and dilute with a bit of beer. Add the finely chopped fresh onion and garlic and let them boil until the liquid has been reduced. When the mixture thickens, stir in the mussels and oysters and fry at 180° C until they brown. Pour over the caramel and serve with freshly cut parsley and a glass of cool  beer.
