Penne with Tuna

This delightful tuna pasta salad is healthy and satisfying meal ...perfect for lunch!

Ingredients:

1/2 pack penne
4 tbs of oil
1 small onion, grated
1/2 cup water
2 ripe tomatoes diced
1 tsp of dried basil
2 tbs of parsley
1 can of tuna (in water)
salt, pepper

Procedure:

  • Grate onion
  • Dice tomatoes

1.  Lightly brown the onion, add the tomato and basil, some water and allow it to cook for ten minutes until the tomato is fully cooked.

2.  Strain the tuna and add to the salad with some salt and pepper.

3.  Boil the penne and serve in each dish, topped with a bit of sauce. Decorate each dish with a few sprigs of parsley.
