This delicious halva cake is even better when topped with creamy rich chocolate frosting.
- 1 pack of self-raising flour (1/2 kg )
- 1 c. butter
- 250 gr crushed vanilla (grocer's) halva (attention not to confuse with semolina halva)
- 250 gr (grocer's) halva diced
- 1/3 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven at 180°C.
Whip the butter in the whisk until fluffy.
Continue to whip in the crushed halva, eggs and vanilla, until you get a smooth mixture.
Add the flour, alternating with the milk. Beat the mixture for 3 more minutes.
Add the rest of the halva in small pieces and stir gently with a spatula.
Place the cake in a greased baking pan and bake.
When it is baked, remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
