1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1.5 cup water
4 cups fresh or frozen peas
salt and pepper
2 tsp parsley chopped or dill if you prefer
1 tsp thyme dry
In a medium-size pan on medium heat, melt the butter with the oil and then add in the flour.
Mix the flour in well and then add the water.
Stir to form a creamy paste and when it begins to boil add the peas, parsley, thyme, salt and pepper.
Keep on low-medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
