Black Octopus

The ink in this recipe gives the succulent octopus an impressive black color.

Ingredients:

1 kg octopus
½ kg onions
½ kg tomatoes tinned
kg white wine
3 Tbs olive oil
3 Tbs brandy
50 gr breadcrumbs
black pepper
dry red chilies

Procedure:

  • Slice onions
  • Cut tomatoes in small pieces

1.  Melt the sliced onions in the oil until transparent.

2.  Add the pre-cooked octopus, the tomatoes, the wine, the pepper, the breadcrumbs and the chilies.

3.  Cook for about one hour.

4.  In the end sprinkle with the brandy.

5.  Finish by adding the ink, according to taste.
