A round, non-oily, marine fish "Gadus morrhua" found in the Northern oceans, weighing up to 40 kg, and with a moist, white, flaky flesh and grey-green skin. It is popular in the UK and Canada, as well as Spain and Portugal, and as a result is at risk of overfishing.
