Aneton has returned to us with a new menu and interior design.  The message is clear;  go back to the basics, get rid of excess and offer top quality produce at a reasonable price. Be greek in taste.

Aneton may be in the heart of a northern suburb surrounded by apartment buildings and small homes yet it is a restaurant that attracts people from all neighbourhoods of the city, near and far. The decoration, with an impressive attention to detail, is composed of materials from the previous interior that they have "upcycled"  to create a stylish and simple decor.Aneton may be in the heart of a northern suburb surrounded by apartment buildings and small homes yet it is a restaurant that attracts people from all neighbourhoods of the city, near and far. The decoration, with an impressive attention to detail, is composed of materials from the previous interior that they have "upcycled"  to create a stylish and simple decor.Tasteful; religiously committed to seasonal produce and, satisfying the Greek palette by turning non- greek techniques and recipes into familiar tastes.The owners Vasilis Kallidis and Dimitris Fotopoulos have been a team since 2005; Vasilis is the culinary guru and Dimitris brings a deep aesthetic lens to the restaurant. To them sourcing is of utmost importance and nature is their supermarket, dictating what they serve and when. Their flexibility to adapt to the environment surrounding them is admirable, as is their respect for local traditions and tastes. Their success is based on the motto "know your strengths" ; by focusing on their strengths they have created a restaurant that is not only a pleasure to be in but also serves wholesome and tasty food. This is the beginning of a long journey which they discover and respond to on a daily basis.

Tips

Definitely try the Fries with feta /and optionally fried egg and the peinirli with minced meat, pine nuts and raisins. A main course must is the greek burgers with yogurt sauce and onions! Try the house wine which has been specially packaged by Tselepos Estate for Anteton. Reservations are necessary.
